A recent Detroit New poll found that the moods of Michigan residents is improving since the November election, from a 21% positive outlook to a now 35% positive outlook regarding the state’s future. Within this poll, 600 registered voters were asked about the top issues including employee health care, teacher tenure rules, making Michigan a “right-to-work” state, tax cuts for businesses and more. Overall, Michigan residents polled seem to be ready for big changes, especially for the job market to improve and grow.
